Alzheimer’s Disease, or AD, is a degenerative brain disorder that happens when brain tissue begins to atrophy due to beta-amyloid plaques form in the brain. Dementia is the result of such degeneration and many victims experience behavioral as well as cognitive changes in their psyche.
