INTRO

When people look at pictures of their family they see the faces of their beloved children, their spouse, or their parents. These images call back fond memories of the time when they were taken and bring about a sense of nostalgia. Now for a moment, imagine waking up and looking at the same images but the only face you see are those of strangers; you have no recollection of ever having children or getting married and you’ve lost the part of yourself that come from those experiences. This is what millions of Americans suffering from AD (Alzheimer's disease) experience routinely every day until they pass away. Despite the urgency of the issue, there is not enough funding going into research for a cure. To combat this, a pubic outcry is necessary; Americans must come together to convince lawmakers to fund AD appropriately.
